DFDS – N.E.C. Football Academy closes partnership with online platform ShowYourSkills

N.E.C. recently partnered with ShowYourSkills. Through the use of an innovative programme, ShowYourSkills supports the development of children in the DFDS – N.E.C. Football Academy.

ShowYourSkills is an application that challenges young footballers to complete ‘skill challenges’. With over seven hundred different exercises at different levels, every child gets the chance to develop at his or her own pace. ShowYourSkills brings the digital and physical worlds together with the creation of an authentic sports community.

Tonny Pijnappels, manager Football Academy N.E.C., states: ”Partly based on our vision of BMO (broad motoric development), we have started a cooperation with ShowYourSkills. This will enable us in the near future to offer extra fundamental movement skills outside the (optional) training moments with which we stimulate children’s broad motoric development and overall frequency of movement. In addition, it gives us the opportunity to further monitor talent development. An important step for our Football Academy.”
